				What You Need to Play Besides the EightBells App and Rules, you will need: • Three six-sided dice (known as three d6 dice, or 3d6) • A table for the layout of the sea • Ship miniatures, either elaborate models or simple symbolic markers • Various other markers of paper, cardboard, metal, or plastic, as decided by the game master; a tape measure

	Wargames For decades people have enjoyed naval actions laid out on a table with miniature ships. The participants start with ships from several nations from history and play out the actions as the captains and commodores. The outcome is whatever you make of it: testing your own personal skills of sailing, firing the great guns, boarding enemy vessels, and outwitting rival commanders.

	Paper Begone The EightBells App is designed to let you very rapidly configure ships for a naval war game, then quickly organize those ships into fleets belonging to various countries. The ships in the fleets can attack other ships, sail, board an enemy ship, repair themselves, and other things set by the game master.
